10 Responses to Omnia II Tip #3: Revert back to Windows Mobile mailbox
Hi, another question:
I try modified below and it is working but got problem.
Enable Threaded SMS
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\]
Change the value of SMSInboxThreadingDisabled from 1 to 0
Whatever message I have reply before cannot show properly once I click on it. It link to wrong message in send folder. Anyone facing this problem?
Or do I need to delete all the old SMS? or it really got such issue?
Hi there
The threaded sms only works for windows mobile mailbox.
The samsung inbox lags badly with threaded, and cant show correct message.
Cheers
Thanks for the infor. I revert back to non threaded already.
thanks a bunch! your blog is truly great! I am loving my Omnia II more now!
btw, it seems that the windows mobile mailbox can't do MMS like omnia i900... is there anyway to do it?
helo
the only workaround i could find at the moment is through the camera photo viewer, it is able to resize and attach it to a new MMS.
Or creating a MMS draft also will do.

hi,
I have been using PPC phone for a while and I have changed to the Samsung i8000 (Omnia 2). However, I am not use to the User Interface of Samsung in the phone and I would prefer to have the old WM user interface. If there any change whereby I can remove it totally and have just the WM user interface?
Please advise ....
JohnnyLow
hi johnny
you could not remove those samsung stuffs. The closest you could do is to rever to the default wm interface. or use a cooked firmware (unofficial firmware) with the samsung stuff removed.
The start menu has been restore in wm6.5, you could upgrade your phone if you have not.samsung main menu is juz another standalone application. you could reassign the cube button to another application instead of the main menu
cheers
Hi,
