Use your favourite registry editor, go to [HKLM/Hardware/Devicemap/Touch]
Modify the value for Calibration Data to 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872
Modify Click from 1280 to 2000 (decimal)
Modify DownUp from 256 to 750 (decimal)
Save the changes and soft reset the phone for the new setting to take effect!
P.S. The original data are derived from screen calibration when you touch the 5 points. So basically you dun really need to backup the original data this time, as you could always recalibrate the screen if you dun like the new setting.

hmm, does it means higher number will lead to higher sensitivity? And if lets say I increase to 5000 for click and 2000 for up/down, will it cause any problem?
Hi Patrick,
That's not really true to some extent, some of the gurus tested the settings, and find these values to give the optimal performance.
So i won't advise you to incrase the values further. If your phone is still covered under warranty, you might want to experiment with the figures to see if a higher values work out better for you, especially since its subjective whether is it more sensitive.
regards
I've seen posts on certain forums saying that the downup value should actually be lower. A value of 100-150 is said to work good.
hi there, it might be psychological afterall. you could test both sets of values to see which works better for you before settling on one
cheers
I would not recommend raising the values any higher than recommended at the top. I pumped the "click" up to 10000 thinking I was increading the sensitivity. My phone would not restart. I had to do a hard reset and lost everything. Luckily I backed up all my important info.
HELP,I changed Calibration Data to 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872 on my omnia 2 (i8000) but i didn't find:

hi dzenan
are you saying that even after hard resetting, the screen is still like that?
have you tried using MyMobiler to access your phone via PC? It could allow you to navigate through your phone using mouse.
Cheers
Hi Wen Qiang,
I download and install MyMobiler to access my phone via pc to set my screen calibartion and alignments.
But every software wants authorization from mobile phone. like (Do you wanat to allow this programme.. etc ) Which need to Tap Yes/No.
So the problem is that i can't tap the Yes.
It's the same problem with CERegeditor
Any solution to use software without asking permission for Yes/No.
Help me Please

Hi
i hav a lot of qs.. i want to upgrade my omnia i900 to wm6.5.. how and where to i do this ?
There are many sites that show new skins and themes loaded in omnia using spb shell.. but doesn't work for me.. says its not a valid pocketpc application.. suggest me how to do this, so i can atleast change the look of my mobile..
#ppl- the values you hve give, works fine with finger clicks n not pen in my sgh-i900v; i think the lower the values, the smaller the tip* for clicking and vice-versa. i was using ; click=240 or 1, and touch=560 max call error=47 or 57. Conder click; is time take 4 the system to process a touch of screen. if unit is milli-sec, then between 2/4 sec is ideal for a click. in millisec, the ideal click value=120 or 240, .The touch value is time in millis(not certain with unit), that the system recognises a touch on the screen. so ideal value=3/5 sec which give the value of 180 or 300 millisec. if my arthmetic is right. The call error; aproximation of a required value for accurate click/touch; not soo sure.
Something to say?
